Frequent questions about CAMS

What does CAMS stand for?

It stands for Cycling Accident Management Service - the team at CAMS are there for you if you’ve gotten into an accident and you feel the other party should pay for your repair costs.

why are dropbar watford working with cams?

We have supported our fair share of cyclists who have brought in their beautiful bike crumpled and broken after an accident (and been knocked about a fair bit themselves) and we trust the team at CAMS to work to get your costs covered upfront. There’s no payments from you, and it’s always worth having a chat with their team. After all, why should you pay for a new bike when the accident wasn’t your fault?

Just as you have insurance and would claim on it for your car, CAMS is helping make cyclists and drivers more accountable in cycling accidents.

How does it work?

If you come into us for a repair or consultation and mention that you’ve been in an accident, we’ll refer you to CAMS. If the accident fits their criteria, they could pay out for your bike repair or replacement upfront. So they will pay us for the work. That’s it! You just mention we sent you!
